    Tooth Desensitizer Uses Up to now, long-lasting sensitivity treatments were available only through treatment in a dentist's office. Now you can have the same sensitivity relief at home. ORAJEL ADVANCED TOOTH DESENSITIZER is the only product of its kind that is available for home use. Its unique formula relieves painful sensitivity due to cold and contact and seals the sensitive area to protect against the return of sensitivity for up to 28 days. ORAJEL ADVANCED TOOTH DESENSITIZER relieves tooth sensitivity within the first day of use, unlike sensitive teeth toothpastes which take up to two weeks to start relieving tooth sensitivity and stop working when you stop using them. With ORAJEL ADVANCED TOOTH DESENSITIZER you get effective relief of tooth sensitivity and you can still use your regular toothpaste. ORAJEL ADVANCED TOOTH DESENSITIZER will not affect existing restorations. Just follow the simple directions, and you can protect yourself from painful tooth sensitivity for up to 28 days! The disposable swabs allow for hygienic application of product. This package contains: 3 packettes of Orajel Advanced Tooth Desensitizer, plus 9 swab applicators (3 per treatment). Directions Before using this product, brush teeth with your regular toothpaste. Open packette. Remove one swab from case. Dip the swab into the packette to thoroughly wet with product. Make sure no liquid is dripping from the swab. Apply the wet swab across each sensitive tooth, right at the gumline using a gentle back-and-forth motion. KEEP THE PRODUCT OFF THE GUMS, CHEEK AND LIPS. Apply for 10 seconds to each sensitive tooth. Allow to dry for 30-60 seconds. If more than 3 teeth need to be treated, dip the swab into the packette to keep it thoroughly wet with product, without dripping. Continue treating the remaining sensitive teeth. After all your sensitive teeth have been treated once, reapply twice more for 10 seconds across the sensitive area of each tooth, allowing product to dry for 30-60 seconds after each application. Floss after completing use to ensure that no material remains between teeth. Refrain from eating or tooth brushing for one hour after the last application. For severe sensitivity, if the discomfort persists after 3 applications, then additional product may be applied. Do not exceed 6 applications in total. See package insert for further information. If no relief is obtained after the maximum treatment of 6 applications, consult your dentist. NOTE: You may experience some redness, burning or irritation upon application if the product is applied incorrectly and comes in contact with gums or other soft tissue in the mouth. This will normally disappear within 24-48 hours. If irritation persists, consult a dentist. Warnings This product is designed only to treat dental hypersensitivity. Do not use to treat a toothache or any other source of pain in the mouth such as canker sores, cuts or wounds, gum irritation (gingivitis or periodontal disease), mouth ulcers, abscesses or tooth fractures. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
